About this winery

Eusebio 'Euse' Guiñazú, Manuel 'Manu' Carizza, Patricio 'Pato' Albacete, and Julio Farías represented Argentina across the globe, proudly wearing their jerseys and numbers like banners of battle and conquest. The name 2456 Wines refers to the positions they defended on the rugby field for the Pumas: numbers 2, 4, 5, and 6. These numbers, beyond being mere identifiers, symbolize their dedication, strength, and team spirit. This project is a tribute to their sporting legacy and the unbreakable...

Production notes

Agrelo has a unique climate and excellent sun exposure, thanks to its elevation between 900 and 1000 meters above sea level, where the clusters ripen slowly to reach their fullness due to this cool microclimate. Dry, with cold winters and very hot summers, alluvial, deep, sandy loam and clayey-silty soils allow the vine roots to explore the terrain and keep their tips always moist.

Tasting notes

A luminous white, with floral scents of jasmine and rose, mixed with exotic notes of pineapple and peach. Cultivated at altitude in Mendoza, it combines finesse and character, thanks to its aging in barrels which offers it subtle flavors and remarkable aging potential. The perfect mix of minerality and deliciousness. Ideal with seafood pasta.
