Product notes

Grown on limestone and clay soils, often with a rocky composition that ensures excellent drainage, the vines benefit from high-altitude planting, which creates a wide temperature variation between day and night. This terroir enhances the concentration and aromatic complexity of the grapes, contributing to intense fruit flavors, structured tannins, and subtle mineral notes that reflect the character of the Jumilla region.

Production notes

Produced from hand-harvested grapes, this wine is crafted using traditional vinification methods with extended maceration to extract color, aromas, and tannins. It is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, to provide structure, complexity, and a velvety texture.

Tasting notes

A good fruit core and depth are evident, with a medium-bodied palate and fine tannins. The wine has the substance and balance to integrate the creamy oak with a bit more time in bottle, revealing aromas of ripe red and dark fruits complemented by subtle spice and mineral hints. The finish is long and harmonious, showing elegance and freshness. For optimal enjoyment, serve slightly below room temperature at 16 °C to 18 °C and decant for 30–60 minutes to allow the wine to fully open. It pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
