Production notes
Pre-fermentation maceration for 2 days and post-fermentation for 4 days. After malolactic fermentation, it is aged in American oak barrels for 20 months, and then remains in bottle for several months before being released.
Tasting notes
Colour: Ruby-red color. Medium-high intensity, with tears, clean and bright. Nose: Clean and complex. With notes of red fruit from the fresh vineyards of Rioja Alta. From the fresh vineyards of Rioja Alta. Balsamic and spicy aromas, in perfect balance with aromas of leather, tobacco leaf and tea after bottle ageing. Palate: Long, with fresh acidity and pleasant, creamy tannins. In short, a well-balanced wine, in harmony and ready to enjoy. Food and wine pairing : It goes perfectly with traditional dishes, such as red meats and mature cheeses.
