About this winery

The Borie de Maurel estate is located in the heart of the Livinière terroir (Félines-Minervois), the first Villages appellation of Minervois and Languedoc. Tasting notes

More than just an introduction, Esprit d’automne serves as a gateway to the collection of great red wines from Borie de Maurel. First, through its minerality, a hint of graphite, then through its aromas of black olive, tobacco, and spices, reminiscent of the preeminent clay-limestone terroirs of the Petit Causse. Next, through its fruit, with aromas of Morello cherry and red berries, and through its mentholated, licorice finish. Finally, through that extraordinary sensation of smooth harmony, of gentle balance, of serene indulgence so characteristic of the Domaine's reds. Pairs well with beef tartare and tuna tataki.
