About this winery

Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest Burgundy wine Maisons. In 1933 it was acquired by the Doudet family, who have developed and expanded the Maison while preserving its fundamental values: respect for traditions and excellence. Christophe Rochet, the current head of Doudet-Naudin, is committed to maintaining the values of this well-respected Maison while restructuring it.

Product notes

This wine offers a wide range of pairings. Besides being a highly recommended aperitif, it pairs beautifully with all types of fish (such as salmon in sorrel sauce), shellfish, and crustaceans. White meats, chicken in cream sauce, and hard or soft cheeses are also excellent choices.

Production notes

Traditional winemaking with temperature control. Settling and alcoholic fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation in tanks. Aged in stainless steel tanks for 9 months.

Tasting notes

A brilliant gold color with slight green highlights. The nose is very expressive, elegantly revealing aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruits (mirabelle plum peach), with hints of exotic fruits developing after aeration. The palate is fresh and fruity with a beautiful mineral richness that elegantly fills the mouth. The overall impression is rich, clean, and precise, perfectly balanced with complete respect for its terroir.
