The 29 hectares has existed since 1902. It has belonged to the Dubost family for 80 years where 3 generations are rooted in Beaujolais. Product notes
L’Ermitage parcel is located at the lower part of the commune of L’Ardières. The soil is clay-loam, and the yield is 45 hl/ha.
Production notes
Manual harvest. Alcoholic fermentation in tanks at approximately 20°C for 3 weeks, followed by settling and racking on fine lees, then aging in barrels for 6 months.
Tasting notes
Fruity wine with aromas of white fruits such as peach and notes of citrus and apricot. Serve with roasted scallops on a bed of leek fondue or monkfish in a creamy lemon sauce
