About this winery

It was with the acquisition of Beaune Premier Cru Clos des Ursules that the history of Maison Louis Jadot began in 1826. It took Louis Henry Denis Jadot thirty years to found the House in 1859, and to establish the values ​​of this family business. Product notes

Marsannay, located south of Dijon, is the only village in Burgundy that produces wines of three colors: red, white and rosé. From one of the most beautiful terroirs of Marsannay, this Longeroies is produced from very old vines over 80 years old. It faces south-east.

Production notes

Aging lasts about 18 months in our cooperage's barrels, about a third of which are new.

Tasting notes

It is a dense, thick wine with a strong tannic structure. Its color is dark, deep and its complex nose between small black berries and ripe fruits. Pairings with steak tartare, guinea fowl and game terrine.
