About this winery

The history of the House of Schoröder & Schÿler has very ancient origins. We are in fact at the heart of the Seven Years' War where France opposed England from 1756 to 1763. Trade between France and the Antilles begins to become complicated; this is why Schröder & Schÿler decides to buy a frigate to continue to supply spices, indigo and other products. Product notes

Private Sélection is a range of red wines where each label corresponds to a batch from a single property, selected for its high quality, generally a great château. Given this origin, the batches are not renewed from one vintage to another. Terroir: very close to the Gironde river on the southern part of the appellation.
