About this winery
Famille Arbeau are based in Fronton, a tiny but fascinating appellation on the river Tarn around 30 miles north of Toulouse. The Arbeau's winemaking roots in the area date back to 1878, and the domaine is now run by brother and sister Anne and Gérard Arbeau who have converted to organics in order to better express the unique terroir and grape varieties of Fronton.

Product notes
Vines on average 25 years old. Slightly sloping soil, mostly boulbène, sandy-loam and sometimes gravelly.
Production notes
The grapes are vinified cold in vats. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, we separate the wine and reinsert the first pressing to add volume. The wine is then bottled after a few months in vat. Light filtration to preserve fruit and freshness.
Tasting notes
A juicy but well-structured red combining blueberry and raspberry liquorice fruit notes with spicy tobacco, aniseed and savoury game.
