Production notes

The old vines from the small Lafleur-Pénin plot carry this classic Saint-Émilion blend. In its deep garnet robe, you can already imagine a handful of small fruits, and unsurprisingly, cherries, redcurrants, and strawberries dominate the aromas over a vanilla backdrop. The fresh and gentle attack gradually refines as smooth, plush tannins emerge, creating a beautiful balance that delights the palate with flavors of red and black berries. Power and length conclude with elegance. A great wine that is already enjoyable to drink but also promises to age gracefully for another 10 years.
