About this winery

The 29 hectares has existed since 1902. It has belonged to the Dubost family for 80 years where 3 generations are rooted in Beaujolais. Product notes

Situated in Saône-et-Loire, 20 km south of Mâcon, this appellation covers 660 hectares surrounding Moulin-à-Vent, a classified historic site. The vines, located in the heart of the Beaujolais-Villages between Beaujeu and Villié-Morgon, are on average 35 to 50 years old, with a yield of 45 to 50 hl/ha. The soil consists of clay-limestone and sandy topsoil over a sandstone subsoil.

Production notes

Manual harvest. Traditional vinification with whole clusters, carbonic maceration for 7 to 8 days. Aged in stainless steel and cement tanks, kieselguhr filtration without fining.

Tasting notes

Supple tannins, a round palate with aromas of red fruits such as redcurrant, raspberry, and blackcurrant. Best served slightly chilled, on its own or paired with charcuterie and terrines. It is the wine of friends!
