The 29 hectares has existed since 1902. It has belonged to the Dubost family for 80 years where 3 generations are rooted in Beaujolais. Product notes
Located in the upper part of the Morgon appellation. Granite-stony soil over pyritous schist (disintegrated sediments). Yield of 45 to 50 hl/ha.
Production notes
Manual harvest with over-ripening. Traditional vinification. Ageing 50% in tank, 50% in barrel.
Tasting notes
A full-bodied wine with rich tannins, offering flavors of cherry and vineyard peach. The finish reveals floral notes of peony and iris. Served slightly chilled, it pairs beautifully with red meats, grilled dishes and game.
