About this winery

Le Monde takes its name from the Germanic word “mundio” which referred to the protection granted by the Emperor of Austria to certain lands. With 50 hectares of vines, Le Monde was founded in 1970 by the Pistioni family and taken over by the Maccan family in 2008. The Maccan family hails from the Prata di Pordenone region and has had some success in the technology field industrial. Product notes

Clay-limestone terroir, rich in microelements and the vines are over 30 years old

Production notes

Pre-fermentation cold maceration for 24 to 36 hours, gentle pressing of the raisins, primary fermentation at controlled temperature, followed by aging on the lees for several months.

Tasting notes

Intense straw yellow color with brilliant golden reflections. The nose has real character, with notes of ripe tropical fruit, peach and seductive hints of sweet spices. It has flesh and velvet, well balanced and ample. Pairings with pasta and fish
