Castell d'Or is the heir to a long winemaking tradition, born from the union of 16 historic Catalan cooperatives founded at the end of the 19th and turn of the 20th century. Today, this unique structure represents more than 2,200 families of winegrowers who work the land with love and respect for nature. Since 2005, Castell d'Or has combined this ancestral know-how with modern winemaking facilities to select the finest vines and craft exclusive, Premium category wines and cavas. Mainly established in the province of Tarragona (in Vila-rodona), the collective excels in crafting exceptional quality cavas in the D.O. Cava using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in the bottle. Through expressive and fresh cuvées like the Cabaret range , Castell d'Or highlights the region's iconic native grape varieties—Xarel·lo, Macabeo, and Parellada —while preserving a sustainable social economy model where members are the direct beneficiaries of their work.
