Production notes
This cru from the Northern Rhône Valley is very elegant! The vines of Viognier, the only grape variety entering the Condrieu appellation, are on hillsides on granite and sandy soils. High planting density for these vines with an average age of 35 years. The harvest is manual. The vinification is done gently to reveal the best of Viognier: 1/3 stainless steel, 1/3 barrels of 2 wines, 1/3 new barrels. The wines are then aged for 10 months.
Tasting notes
Floral and elegant nose. As it opens, the wine offers aromas of praline and fruit paste. Floral finish, mineral touch. Priceless length. It's poetry in the mouth!
